Itinerary

We embark on a great adventure to Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain. We pick you up from your hotel at 5:00 a.m. and head to the town of Cusipata, where you'll enjoy an energetic breakfast. The trip lasts approximately two hours. Then, another hour and a half will take us to the town of LLonto. Here, we'll begin a 4 km hike to Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, which has an altitude of 5,040 meters above sea level, with views of the snow-capped Ausangate mountain range in the distance. The first stretch isn't difficult, but you'll feel the height. The network of rainbow mountains will gradually begin to appear until we reach the viewpoint at 5,000 meters above sea level. Its geological formations reveal all their splendor. After the final climb, you can enjoy stunning views of the Rainbow Mountain and the beautiful snow-capped Ausangate (6,372 meters above sea level). Upon arrival, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the view and take photos. Then, we'll descend along the same trail to board our private vehicle for the return trip to Cusco, stopping for lunch in Cusipata. Finally, we arrive in Cusco at approximately 6:00 pm. The trip lasts approximately 12 hours.

Vinicunca

The colorful Vinicunca phenomenon is the result of a unique combination of minerals in the layers of the earth, which, when exposed to erosion, create a palette of vibrant colors, ranging from intense reds to shades of green, purple, and yellow. This natural phenomenon has turned the mountain into a true icon of Peruvian geography and a must-see for adventurers seeking to explore the wonders of the Andes.
