Itinerary
This morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco or the Sacred Valley in our private transportation, at the scheduled time depending on your train departure to Machu Picchu. We will head to the train station in Poroy or Ollantaytambo. During this train ride, you will enjoy stunning views and the winding Vilcanota River as you descend into the jungle edge, passing through the cloud forest that characterizes this region.
Upon arrival at the town of Aguas Calientes, you will take a connecting bus with your guide to the magnificent citadel of Machu Picchu, where you will enjoy a fascinating tour of the site. Immerse yourself in the culture and history of the Incas and admire the perfect constructions built by the Incas. After this fascinating tour, you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch. Then, board the train back to the Ollantaytambo or Poroy station, where our staff will be waiting with private transportation to take you back to your hotel.
